Parade

We invite you to participate in the 2019 Sackville Patriot Days Parade on Canada Day, Monday, July 1, 2019. Last year the parade was a great success for all involved! Last year’s Patriot Days events attracted many spectators and participants – over eighty entries were in the parade alone! This year we anticipate a bigger and better parade and even more spectators and participants.

Feed Nova Scotia will be collecting non-perishable food items and money in this year’s parade. They work with those in need across the province and in our community. Please help them knock hunger out of the park!

The parade will form up at Downsview Mall commencing at 7:30am and will march off at 9:00am. The parade will wind its way 2.7 km down Sackville Drive and disperse in the Rock Church parking lot.

The Rock Church will be hosting a BBQ at the end of the parade. We thank you for your positive contribution to the community by participating in this year’s parade. You will receive a certificate of appreciation.

This is a great opportunity for you to support the community and, at the same time, create increased exposure and fun for you and your organization or business. I encourage you and your friends and family to get involved in this year’s Canada Day Parade. We usually see approximately 12,000 spectators.
